Bokbasen Thesaurus

Bokbasen har en hierarkisk tesaurus med kontrollerte frittstående emneord. Tesaurusen ble etablert på 1980-tallet, og blir kontinuerlig vedlikeholdt og videreutviklet av Bokbasens katalogavdeling. Filen inneholder de fem hovedkategoriene emner, form, sjanger, tid og sted, på bokmål og nynorsk.

Bokbasen has a hierarchical thesaurus with controlled free-standing keywords. The thesaurus was established in the 1980s, and is continuously maintained and further developed by Bokbasen's catalog department. The file contains the five main categories of topics, form, genre, time and place, in Bokmål and Nynorsk.

Ordnøkkelen – tesaurus for kulturminnevern

"Ordnøkkelen – tesaurus for kulturminnevern er utarbeidet av Riksantikvaren. Termene i Ordnøkkelen skal ikke oppfattes som enegyldig norm for språkbruk innen kulturminnevern. Termene er valgt ut fra behovet Riksantikvaren har når litteratur, bilder o.a. skal registreres i databaser, for senere gjenfinning. Det er derfor ikke en fullstendig ordliste for kulturminnevern, men gjenspeiler behovet for gjenfinning i basene. Detaljeringsgraden vil derfor være ulik for forskjellige emner.

"A collection of 2000 administrative terms with English - Norwegian bokmål/Norwegian bokmål - English and English - Norwegian nynorsk/Norwegian nynorsk - English translations, from the Norwegian Institutions of Higher Education.

The termbase translates from Norwegian bokmål/Norwegian nynorsk to British English and the other way round. (The base uses the Oxford University Press house style.)"

Eating and Drinking Ability Classification System for Individuals with Cerebral Palsy

"We have developed a new Eating and Drinking Ability Classification System (EDACS) for people with cerebral palsy. EDACS describes five distinct levels of ability using the key features of safety and efficiency (...). Our new Eating and Drinking Ability Classification System (EDACS) offers an alternative to subjective terms such as mild and moderate and severe which have no agreed definition. We developed EDACS by consulting with people with cerebral palsy, parents and experts around the world.

SNORRE

"Termbasen SNORRE er utviklet av Standard Norge i samarbeid med Språkrådet og Kulturdepartementet. SNORRE inneholder fagtermer og definisjoner på bokmål, nynorsk, engelsk, tysk og fransk som er samlet i forbindelse med standardiseringsarbeid. I SNORRE finnes oppdatert og vedlikeholdt terminologi fra et bredt utvalg av områder, f.eks. sportsutstyr og -anlegg, skipsbygging og marine konstruksjoner, bedriftsorganisasjon og -ledelse, kvalitetsstyring og næringsmiddelteknologi. Hovedtyngden av termene i databasen er ekserpert fra oversatte standarder.
