Musiikin asiasanasto

"Musiikin asiasanasto (MUSA) on yksikielinen musiikin indeksointiin tarkoitettu erikoissanasto, joka noudattaa Yleisen suomalaisen asiasanaston (YSA) periaatteita ja rakennetta. Musiikin asiasanasto on tarkoitettu käytettäväksi musiikkia käsittelevien kirjojen ja artikkelien sekä kaikkien musiikkitallenteiden (nuottijulkaisut, äänitteet jne.) indeksointiin ja tiedonhakuun. Sanasto ohjaa tiedontallentajia ja -hakijoita käyttämään yhteistä kieltä. Musiikin asiasanaston laadinnassa on noudatettu Suomenkielisen tesauruksen laatimis- ja ylläpito-ohjeita (SFS 5471).

"Music Thesaurus (MUSA) is one of the language special vocabulary for music indexing, which complies with the principles and structure of the Finnish General Thesaurus (YSA). Thesaurus music is intended for use in the music of the books and articles, as well as all recorded music (printed music, sound recordings, etc.) for indexing and information retrieval. Glossary tiedontallentajia guides and job-seekers to use a common language. compiling a thesaurus to music have been observed in Finnish, thesaurus preparation and maintenance instructions (SFS 5471).

"Tesaurus är en databas med utvalda och kontrollerade ämnesord som delvis är hierarkiskt ordnade. Ämnesorden är sökbara i fritext i de databaser där indexering används som en extra sökhjälp."

KVINNSAM Ämnesordslista

"Ämnesorden är valda ur ett konsekvent kvinnoperspektiv, dvs ämnesordet kvinnor är alltid underförstått. Ämnesordet författare avser kvinnliga författare, med ämnesordet poliser menas kvinnliga poliser (eller möjligen manliga poliser i relation till kvinnliga kolleger/brottslingar). Vill man söka poster om manliga brottslingar, författare etc lägger man : män till sökordet, t ex brottslingar: män. Andra texter om män kan man hitta genom att söka på manlighet, mansrollen, fäder osv. Ämnesindexeringen påbörjades i slutet av 1950-talet och antalet ämnesord växer vid behov.

"Subject words are chosen from a consistent female perspective, ie the subject word of women is always implied." Gross Motor Function Classification System

"The Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) is a 5 level classification system that describes the gross motor function of children and youth with cerebral palsy on the basis of their self-initiated movement with particular emphasis on sitting, walking, and wheeled mobility. Distinctions between levels are based on functional abilities, the need for assistive technology, including hand-held mobility devices (walkers, crutches, or canes) or wheeled mobility, and to a much lesser extent, quality of movement.

Thesaurus for Graphic Materials

"The thesaurus includes more than 7,000 subject terms and 650 genre/format terms to index types of photographs, prints, design drawings, ephemera, and other pictures. In 2007, the subject and genre/format vocabularies, previously maintained separately, were merged into a single list and migrated to new software, MultiTes. The Thesaurus for Graphic Materials is a tool for indexing visual materials by subject and by genre/format."
